WORKSHOP FEEDBACK

Dear John,
It has been a pleasure to take part to your workshop on Sunday as your work brings me where my beliefs are and makes me really feel comfortable. It is rare to meet people who make a choice of physical theatre in such a way, and I'm glad I've met you. I really like your way of working. Thanks very much for now. Kind Regards Eli

Hi,
It's one of the best physical theatre workshops that I have done. Definitely worth more than a tenner! It was inspiring to have a different approach to theatre and performance as an actor, this is how theatre should be taught in drama schools. Thank you, M T

Hi John,
I thought the workshop was like a body conditioning workout (hope that makes you laugh) but again I learnt new ways of creating a character and am developing new muscles. I did enjoy the foetal position and then legs up, arms out. I had to laugh, at myself of course. See you on Friday. M :)

Hi John,
It was great fun and really enjoyable. I found some of the exercises, such as balancing on our lower backs and speaking text or playing different characters from the piece, really good for voice work and encouraging me to just open up and not be shy with whatever ideas come into my head (as well as a good workout!)

It was also just great being in the space and watching other actors at work and performing Shakespeare. It was a big boost and reminded why I enjoy this job so much.  Thank you so much and I look forward to coming back! Thanks again and see you soon. All the best, S

Dear John,
I really enjoyed Monday's workshop. It was a good opportunity to lose my inhibitions and let go in a space full of unfamiliar faces. Many of the exercises we did we're similar to exercises we did while at drama school and it was a great reminder of that. I look forward to seeing you on Friday. Best Wishes Dan

Dear John,
It was interesting to see everyone’s take on the characters. I thought that was challenging, in that I started to think about how to do the characters differently to the usual perhaps more stereotypical way, as well as trying to keep elements of their innate character still clear. I thought the amount of time spent on things was perfect. Thanks again. Best Wishes L

Dear John,
Feedback for yesterday, I thought the process was really great and made us really think about character, movement and our use of body and voice. A great intro and workshop in physical theatre to get us started. I thought it was good how you made us feel very comfortable from the beginning. After travelling home with many others on the tube, I know they enjoyed it too. I hope this feedback helps. I look forward to seeing you on Friday. Kind Regards, L

Dear John,
My feedback... It was challenging and stimulating. It's always a discovery for me working with English actors, I learn from them, I measure myself with the different trainings and backgrounds and I love it! I felt proud of myself! Take care. C

Dear John,
I really enjoyed it and like the energy that you bring and your approach. Thank you for asking for my feedback. Sincerely, A F

Dear John,
Feedback, I really enjoyed working on monday. I thought it was very inspiring and exciting and I was so impressed by everyone's standard. I am feeling a little stiff it must be said (ha!) but it was great to be working some muscles again and I loved the physical aspect of the work. I enjoyed watching everyone's work. Many thanks, lol
